A project based on an idea from late legend Bruce Lee is finally moving forward two years after first being put in development. The project, titled Warrior, is a passion project from Justin Lin and Banshee co-creator Jonathon Tropper. Cinemax has picked the show up and ordered a 10-episode season. The show is described as a gritty, action-packed crime drama set during the brutal Tong Wars of San Francisco?s Chinatown in the second half of the 19th century. Warrior was first put in development at Cinemax in 2015 before being picked up to pilot last summer.
