In a recent with the Hollywood Reporter, actor Hank Azaria discussed his role as the unstable, alcoholic sportscaster Jim Brockmire on IFC's new hit show Brockmire. Azaria explained, "One of the great things about the nice response this show has gotten is the sports world has sort of invited me to participate every once in a while like that." Azaria, a lifelong Mets fan, was invited to the team's broadcaster's booth during a recent game and even got to call a few plays on live TV.
