Back in May, Tom Cruise revealed that he is working on a Top Gun sequel. Back in 1986, the actor starred in the original movie, playing Lt. Pete ?Maverick? Mitchell-- a fighter pilot for the US Navy. In the film, he gets sent to Top Gun Naval Flying School and falls in love with an instructor. In a recent interiew, Cruise shared that the sequel will be call "Top Gun: Maverick." He also told Access Hollywood that the second film will have a very similar tone to the first.
