Gervais will narrate and executive produce the project.
Martin Short and Maya Rudolph have signed on.
They join Terry Crews and Jane Krakowski.
The movie is about four kids abandoned by their selfish parents.
They embark on a wild adventure into the world, where they find a new modern family of their own.
