Reinventing the superhero genre is hard to do. Wonder Woman will be the next blockbuster to have a go at the challenge when it premieres this weekend. In an interview with Screen Slam, Wonder Woman actor Chris Pine discussed the number of superhero movies floating about and why director Patty Jenkin?s unique take is what made him interested in joining the adaptation. He says, ?She, in particular ? Patty [Jenkins] was a great reason why I wanted to be involved. I met her...then she told me what she wanted to do: the story, my character, and Gal?s character."
