Paramount?s first spinoff in the Transformers cinematic universe, Bumblebee, eyes Hailee Steinfeld for the human lead. Steinfeld has been on the radar since her roles in True Grit and Ender?s Game, but has recently become a much bigger name by joining the Pitch Perfect franchise as well as getting awards buzz for her performance in The Edge of Seventeen. It was only a matter of time before a rising female star as herself found a new franchise to plant her feet, and it may come courtesy of the Transformers universe.
