According to reports, Oscar-winner Nicole Kidman, who will be portraying Aquaman?s mother Queen Atlanna in the upcoming DC Movie, has joined the cast for filming in Sydney, Australia. In recent interviews, the 'Big Little Lies' actress has reportedly talked about her excitement at the idea of playing a ?mermaid warrior.' Kidman, who was confirmed for the role earlier this year, is also a longtime friend of the movie's director, James Wan. Aquaman, which stars 'Game of Thrones' Jason Momoa as the aquatic superhero, hits theatres on December 21, 2018.
