John Leguizamo's storyline in "Bloodline" was particularly affected by the Netflix series' hastened end. In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Leguizamo said the abrupt cancellation of the series led to his storyline being cut short. His character, Ozzy Delveccio, is an acquaintance of Ben Mendelsohn's Danny Rayburn from Miami who showed up in season two looking to use what he knew about Danny's death to extort money from the Rayburns. Leguizamo said his character was supposed to hang around for several seasons and develop a significant arc. However, the cancellation of the series meant Ozzy's story had to wrap up fast. In the eighth episode of Bloodline's third season, Ozzy commits suicide by shooting himself in the mouth.
