VIDEO : Carrie Fisher Was to Be Main Star of Star Wars: Episode 9?

According to Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, actress Carrie Fisher was supposed to be the leading actor behind "Star Wars Episode 9" before her sudden death last year. In an interview with Vanity Fair, Kennedy said that the studio hoped Fisher's character, General Leia Organa, would be the central figure of Episode IX, which is set for release May 2019.
