According to TheWrap, Comedy Central will air a TV special called ?Fake News With Ted Nelms,? starring former 'Office' actor Ed Helms. In the special, which will parody the current ?fake news? phenomenon, Helms will play a fake cable news broadcaster named Ted Nelms. The show will see Helms reading absurd news items in a deadpan fashion, parodying CNN, Fox News and other networks. The special is the second time Comedy Central has addressed current events in its programming recently, following its new series ?The President Show,? featuring a Trump impersonator.
