Before nabbing the coveted role of Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot almost gave up on her acting career. In a recent interview, the Israeli actor candidly spoke about how she was beaten down by the constant rejection in show business. During an appearance on The Tonight Show, Gadot told Jimmy Fallon, "I was telling my husband, I?m not sure how long I can take it." If it weren't for receiving a phone call from Zack Snyder to do a screen test for a secret character, Gadot may have never acted again. Now the actress is booked for the next few years with reoccurring parts in DC Extended Universe films.
