Actress Nicole Kidman is voicing her thoughts on the hiring practices in Hollywood when it comes to securing female filmmakers for projects. On Wednesday Kidman addressed the matter while attending the Cannes Film Festival saying
women "have to support female filmmakers ? that's just a given now." According to the Associated Press Kidman was expressing her insight on the film "The Beguiled". "The Beguiled" is one of three films directed by women in competition for the Palme d'Or in Cannes and was directed by Sofia Coppola' .
