Demi Lovato addressed the controversy surrounding her hairstyle in her music video for "No Promises via Twitter Monday. many feel her hairstyle is an example of cultural appropriation. The video shows Lovato wearing what appear to be dreadlocks. Many called the singer out, others defended her saying they weren?t locs, but a twisted hairstyle. Lovato broke her silence on the matter in a series of Monday tweets. She didn?t issue an apology and said she was not wearing locs.
