James Franco's character dies early in the new film Alien: Coveneant". According to screenrant, fans were shocked to see Fanco die a horrible, fiery death in the opening minute. With only a few speaking lines, what's the point of his character? Dante Harper says that in earlier versions of the script gave Franco's captain bronson a larger role.
