Actor Hugh Jackman played Wolverine in nine movies. It's safe to say that he probably knows more about the character than anyone else. however, that wasn't always the case. In a recent interview, Jackman revealed that he didn't know that the wolverine animal actually existed when he first started playing the role. Instead, Jackman studied wolves to prepare himself for the role. X-Men director Bryan Singer noticed that Jackman's performance was off, and had to explain that wolverines were indeed real.
