Before he was cast as wolverine, Hugh Jackman had no idea who the X-Men character was. He soon found out researching for the role would be more difficult than he thought. In a recent interview, he stated, ?I didn?t even know there was a wolverine. I literally embarrassingly did about two weeks of research on wolves.? He soon found out from the director during shooting that wolverines are a real animal and that he might need to do more research.
