Deadline has reported that next week actress Angela Bassett will being working on the next installment of the Mission: Impossible franchise, which has been in production for over a month. Bassett is best known for her performances in "What's Love Got to Do With It" and "Malcolm X." Most recently, the actress has moved into television work making appearances on American Horror Story and most recently on the second season of Masters of None. In Mission: Impossible 6 Bassett will play the director of the CIA.
