According to a report by TMZ, the police suspect that suicide might be the cause of Chris Cornell?s death. The 52-year-old singer was reportedly found by a family friend in the bathroom of his hotel room with a band around his neck. These reports have not been confirmed. AP reported that Cornell died on Wednesday night after he performed with his band Soundgarden in Detroit. A representative called the death "sudden and unexpected" and said his wife and family were shocked by it.
