Bon Jovi entertained university graduates and their guests at Fairleigh Dickinson University's commencement on Tuesday, putting on a surprise performance in the MetLife Stadium where the ceremony was being held. Fairleigh Dickinson won a nationwide contest to bring the band to play at their graduation by generating the most interest on social media. Before playing the song "Reunion," Jon Bon Jovi said to the crowd, "Today marks the end of one chapter in your life and the start of another. Enjoy the book; you're the one writing it." Best known for hits like "Livin' On A Prayer" in the '80s, Bon Jovi's current album went to number 1 on the charts for the first three months of 2017.
