KIrsten Dunst, indie film star and former "Spider-Man" actress says she really wanted to do a fourth film with director Sam Raimi and actor Tobey Maguire. However, after Spider-Man 3 was not very successful in 2007, plans to make a fourth film fell through, and instead, Sony announced in 2010 that it would be rebooting the franchise with new actors, namely Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone. Recently, while speaking with Variety, Dunst revealed, ?I wanted to be in that movie so badly. I loved it, and I wish we could have made a fourth. [...] Everyone likes our ?Spider-Man.? C?mon, am I right or what? Listen, I?d rather be in the first ones than the new ones.? Now, Sony is rebooting the property for the third time in six years with Tom Holland as the latest Spider Man.
