ABC announced on Tuesday that Perry has joined the American Idol reboot as a judge. No other onscreen talent, not even the original A Ryan Seacrest Type, Ryan Seacrest, has signed up yet. Perry said in a statement, ?I am honored and thrilled to be the first judge bringing back the American Idol tradition of making dreams come true for incredible talents".
