Guy Ritchie's 'King Arthur' franchise has reportedly been scrapped because of the underwhelming response to 'Legend of the Sword'. The action drama, which movie starred Charlie Hunnam and Jude Law, fell well short of pre-release expectations in the US. That means Ritchie's ambitions of turning 'King Arthur' into a money-spinning franchise have now disappeared. A Hollywood source said: "The 'King Arthur' franchise is dead."
