"Guardians Of The Galaxy Volume 2" is one of the most successful films this year, and will most likely have another sequel coming out in a few years. However, Director James Gunn revealed in a Facebook broadcast that he almost did not return for filming the third movie, due to his decision to kill Michael Rooker?s character Yondu in the new movie. Gunn has worked with Rooker for years on multiple movies, which weighed heavily on whether he was going to return for the third film or not.
