Oscar-nominated actress Diane Lane recently stars in Paris Can Wait which is the feature directorial debut of Eleanor Coppola who is the 81-year-old wife of Francis Ford Coppola. In the film, Lane plays a woman whose outlook on life, and her marriage changes during an impromptu road trip from Cannes to Paris with her husband's offbeat French business associate. At a sit down with Elle magazine, Lane shares a lesson she learned from her mother. "It was really tricky to live between two strong, passionate, interesting, fiery parents," says Lane, "who are not united in any way." But Lane's realization is that "No love is ever wasted."
