Much of the promotional material for Gal Gadot's new film Wonder Woman shows her covered in dirt - sword at the ready - she's a WARRIOR, the "Princess" part is secondary. But before she was an action star, before she was Princess Diana of Themyscira - she was Miss Israel and competed in the Miss Universe pageant. That's not saying she lost any of her warrior edge. During an interview for the cover of Marie Claire Gadot comments on gender issues saying, "There's a long way to go until we can make gender a non issue."
