In an announcement Thursday, Syfy said that it has ordered former 'Law and Order' star Chris Meloni's new show 'Happy' to series. Happy, which is based on the Grant Morrison comic book of the same name, centers on a blue flying cartoon horse associated with Meloni's character Nick Sax. In the program, Sax is a drunken, drug-addled ex-cop and current hitman who?s burned his life to the ground. He then meets up with Happy, who will be voiced by 'Saturday Night Live' star Bobby Moynihan. Meloni and showrunner Patrick Macmanus will reportedly executive produce the show with Brian Taylor directing the pilot.
