On the heels of ABC's announcement that American Idol would return to primetime on their network, NBC has announced that American Idol alum Jennifer Hudson will take the judges seat on The Voice coaching line-up for season 13. Hudson will join the cast this fall which includes Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. Miley Cyrus, is also set to return to the series after being on hiatus during the spring cycle off. " Paul Telegdy, President, Alternative and Reality Group, NBC Entertainment, said of the arrival of Hudson: "Jennifer is an extraordinary vocal talent and one of the premier voices of our time."
