Ryan Seacrest has remained mum on if he'll be hosting the American Idol reboot, but he's definitely aware that the show is officially returning to TV. On Wednesday's Live With Kelly and Ryan, the TV star made a joke about Idol, which he hosted for 15 seasons, when talking about the Grammys taking place in New York City next year. Noting how much easier that will be for him to cover the red carpet because he just moved to NYC, Seacrest quipped, "Just move American Idol, [that] would be so much easier!" Last week, a source close to FremantleMedia -- the production company behind Idol -- told ET that it's "entirely possible to do American Idol in New York City." "It could be more costly, but worth it," the source noted. "Everyone knows that Ryan is the glue that keeps the show together. A reboot without him is almost unthinkable."
