With Furious 8, the Fast & Furious franchise continued its streak of delivering increasingly and wonderfully preposterous fuel-injected action for more than 15 years. The newly rebranded MTV Movie and TV Awards decided to honor those achievements by giving the franchise its highest honor, the Generation Award.
