Ryan Seacrest became a household name thanks to the reality singing competition show, American Idol. The show has been off the air for over a year, and Seacrest was announced as the new permanent co-host on Live! with Kelly Ripa. According to sources, Seacrest would consider hosting American Idol--if the show were to ever return. Seacrest's current schedule, according to reports, is pretty tightly packed. He films "Live!" every week in New York City and commutes to Los Angeles.
