Prince Philip announced that he would be retiring from making public appearances but he stepped out on Thursday to accompany Queen Elizabeth to the Order of Merit Service at St. James?s Palace in London. The Duke of Edinburgh seemed to be in good spirits as he greeted guests, but rumors about his health have been swirling. The palace was quick to assure the public that Philp's retirement isn't health related and that the Queen fully supports her husband's decision. In June, Prince Philip will turn 96.
