Chris Rock has not performed comedy in seven years. A lot had changed in that time. The biggest thing that happened in the comedian's life is the 2014 separation from his wife of 18 years, Malaak Compton-Rock. Their divorce was finalized in 2016. In the latest issue of Rolling Stone magazine, Rock finally opened up about the split. Rock admitted that he cheated on his wife with three women: one famous, one semi-famous, and one a member of the retail class. He told Rolling Stone that he thought he could get away with cheating because he was the famous breadwinner in the household. Rock admitted "Your significant other, if they really love you, has a high opinion of you. And you let them down."
