At last night?s star-studded Met Gala, co-chair Katy Perry stepped out in a custom John Galliano for Maison Margiela ensemble that felt fit for a red wedding. Ultimately, the look set the avant-garde tone for the evening, which seemed to take more inspiration than actual designs from Comme des Garçons's Rei Kawakubo, whose work was the theme of the whole affair.
