Jeremy Renner has been cast as Wild West legend John Henry ?Doc? Holliday in a movie optioned by Palmstar Media. The film will be produced by Kevin Frakes and The Combine, which is a production company run by Renner and Don Handfield. The movie will be based on a pair of novels, called "Doc" and "Epitaph: A Novel of the O.K. Corral," by writer Mary Doria Russell. The pair of books showcase the life of Holliday, who was a dentist-turned-gunslinger who participated in the infamous Gunfight at the O.K. Corral.
