VIDEO : ?Superman Vs. the KKK? Getting Film Adaptation

A film adaption is in the works for Superman Vs. the KKK. The film will chronicle the true-life story behind the making of a 1946 radio drama in which the Man of Steel takes on a veiled version of the Ku Klux Klan. Long before Christopher Reeve donned Superman?s costume on the big screen for the first time in the 1978 Richard Donner classic, the iconic DC Comics superhero has had an interesting history. Following the popularity of the DC comic book, the character most famously appeared on TV series Adventures of Superman from 1952-58 starring George Reeves.
Before that, however, listeners heard the superhero?s voice as part of the syndicated radio drama The Adventures of Superman, from 1940 to 1951.
