Thanks to the new "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" the Marvel Cinematic Universe can now say it has made over 11 billion dollars worldwide. In its first international opening weekend, the sequel churned out 101.2 million dollars ahead of its debut in the U.S. Since 2008, the MCU has managed to earn 11 billion dollars across all its features. The franchise?s top four box office winners have even earned over a billion on their own.
