Sony announced that PlayStation 4 shipments have reached 60 million units.
Launched back in late 2013, the PS4 is Sony's latest gaming console.
In the company's first earnings announcement since last year, Sony reportedly shipped another 20 million gaming consoles over 2016.
That was up from 17.7 million units in 2015.
But the future looks bright for the PS4.
Even though Sony expects to scale back shipments of the next-gen console, the company expects to ship another 18 million units over the next year.
