At a recent panel discussion, Robert Carlock, creator of the show "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" opened up about working on the third season. The Netflix show hasn't shied away from edgy or political humor, however, the newest season wont cover any of the 2016 presidential election. Carlock said: ?We declared kind of early to ourselves in the writer?s room we didn?t feel like we could deal with this. We didn?t want to take a guess because we would have been wrong." Carlock added: "It?s too bad because it was an election between a woman and a bully.?
