Following his overwhelming success with the musical-movie, "La La Land," director Damien Chazelle will helm a new musical drama series entitled "The Eddy." Chazelle initially broke out onto the scene with the 2014 movie "Whiplash." In 2017, became the youngest director ever to win an Academy Award for Best Direction. Chazelle's newest project, "The Eddy" is set to take place in contemporary multicultural Paris, and will focus on a club, its owner and employees. Chazelle is also gearing up for his next film, "First Man.' This biopic about Neil Armstrong will star "La La Land's" Ryan Gosling.
