Contrary to popular belief, writer/director Rian Johnson has not been involved in the writing process for Star Wars: Episode IX.
Johnson, the director of The Last Jedi, has been actively engaging with Star Wars fans since making a surprise visit at Star Wars Celebration 2017.
There has been speculation that Johnson has written Episode VIII and Episode IX, since the films are ao slosely connected.
He revealed on concours-twitter.htm">twitter that he is not invloved in the writing of Star Wars: Episode IX.
