Aretha Franklin has finally responded to Dionne Warwick?s accusations that she lied about being Whitney Houston?s Godmother. Franklin send a long fax about the five-year-old incident to the Associated Press, and she took part in an interview as well. Franklin stated, ?she blatantly lied on me? fully well knowing what she was doing? there?s been so much going on around her, around the service, around drugs? I didn?t want to add anything.? Franklin is not Houston?s Godmother, but she didn?t want to add more controversy to Whitney Houston?s death.
