According to a report from the The Hollywood Reporter, Jeff Goldblum will be returning to the Jurassic Park franchise. It's been officially confirmed that Goldblum will make an appearance in Jurassic World 2, reprising his role as Dr. Ian Malcolm. Goldblum last appeared in a Jurassic Park feature in 1997. He also appeared in the original Jurassic Park in 1993. Jurassic World 2 is being directed by J.A. Bayona and it stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard and BD Wong.
