Actress Abigail Breslin has an important message to share: Reported rapes are not the only rapes that count.
In honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, Breslin took Instagram and revealed she had been sexually assaulted.
The Scream Queens star was inundated with messages asking her why she never reported the crime.
One comment in particular said "Reported rapes are the only rapes that count."
Breslin says she was ain a relationship with her rapist and she did not want to report the rape and become a victim.
