Reality star Kim Kardashian West recently spoke out about the Armenian genocide in recognition of the 102nd anniversary of the mass killings. Kardashian, who is half Armenian on her father?s side, tweeted, ?Thinking of Armenians everywhere. 102 yrs ago, Ottoman authorities began a slaughter that would kill 1.5m,? she wrote. According to SFgate, "April 24 marks the anniversary of the day in 1915 when the Ottoman Turks began the eradication of 1.5 million Armenians. Both Turkey and the U.S. have denied the killings were an orchestrated genocide."
