Bruce Springsteen and longtime friend Joe Grushecky have released a protest song against Donald Trump called "That's What Makes Us Great." In an interview with the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Grushecky said he wrote the song when Trump took office in January and he ran it by Springsteen. On the track, Springsteen sings lines like, "Don't tell me a lie/And sell it as a fact/I've been down that road before/And I ain't goin' back," and "Don't you brag to me/That you never read a book/I never put my faith/In a con man and his crooks." Springsteen has been open about his disapproval of the Trump administration and has expressed concern for the future of the United States.
