In a recent interview with Yahoo, Melissa Etheridge revealed that she has smoked marijuana with her 20-year-old daughter Baily Jean and 18-year-old son, Beckett. The singer became a cannabis advocate after she started using it medicinally when she was diagnosed in 2004 with stage 2 breat cancer. Etheridge had been smoking recreationally since her twenties, but she learned about its medicinal properties from her close friend David Crosby.
