VIDEO : Ellen DeGeneres Celebrating 20th Anniversary Of Coming Out Episode

In a celebration of its host's most important episode of television, the Ellen DeGeneres Show will dedicate its entire April 28 hourlong episode with a special star-studded tribute to "The Puppy Episode" of her former ABC sitcom Ellen. Airing 20 years ago, the two-part, season four episode featured DeGeneres' character coming out as gay and aired in tandem with the comedian-turned-actor-turned-host's personal declaration on the cover of Time magazine. The Ellen DeGeneres Show will celebrate the milestone with a cast reunion and special guest stars, and will also feature messages from celebrities and real-life stories of how the episode impacted fans, viewers and the LGBT community.
