This weekend, Lady Gaga will history when she performs at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts festival. According to a report, its been a a decade since a solo woman has been billed as a headliner at Coachella. Beyonce had originally been slated to headline the festival this year in Indio, California, but backed out after it was revealed she was pregnant with twins. Since it was launched in 1999, women have always performed at Coachella with the number of female performers growing over the past few years, including acts that blend alternative and pop.
