Jessica Chastain has joined the jury of the 70th Cannes Film Festival, which will run from May 17 to May 28. Festival chief Thierry Frémaux made the announcement on French radio station ?France Inter? on Friday morning, just one day after the festival?s Official Selection was announced. Frémaux told the radio station, ?For the 70th anniversary, there are people who are part of the history of the festival, or who have been discovered by the festival, and who we want to have near us."
