Simon & Schuster announced on Friday that Stephen Colbert's "Midnight Confessions" segment from his late night show will be the basis for an upcoming print and audiobook release. The "Midnight Confessions" book is scheduled for a September 5 release and it will include Colbert's pleas for forgiveness along with submissions from audience members. In a statement, Colbert said he wishes the "confessions were made up." Previous books by Colbert include "I Am America (And So Can You!)" and "America Again."
